Applicaster gives broadcasters and TV formats a new way of entertaining their audiences on mobile devices. We provide solutions for interactive TV with the ultimate goal of bringing viewers closer to TV content! Your work will be viewed and used by a quickly growing global audience.

What you will do:

• Developing rich Android applications that are used by millions of users worldwide.
• Developing Java based SDK that is used by other developers.
• Participate and lead research and design of various framework and end-user components.
• Be a member of our R&D team practicing agile development methods.

It is expected that you have:

• 2-4 years of experience in native Android Development. iOS and other mobile platforms – a plus.
• RESTful Networking: (Retrofit/OKHttp)
• RXJava
• Unit Testing: JUnit, Robolectric, Mockito
• Knowledge of Android software design patterns.
• Great understanding of the Android framework internals.
• Experience in: other mobile platform development, open source environment, JSON/XML for client-server communication, digital video (compression, packaging, distribution), high version control skills, with emphasis on git
• Experience with automated build systems, configurations and deployment – plus.
• Experience with web or backend technologies – plus. (Ruby on rails, React)
• B.A./B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Able to work independently and drive results.
