Join TiVo’s product management time at an exciting time of transformation in how we develop and deliver products at TiVo. a Product Manager in TiVo’s metadata business group, you will be leading a cross-functional team to drive the development and integration of TiVo’s metadata portfolio into TiVo products and services that reach thousands of customers and millions of end-users around the world. You will be expected to work in a highly collaborative manner with the worldwide Sales, Content, Data Operations and Engineering leadership teams.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will work with our market research, sales and operations teams to identify market needs, analyze competitive products and use this data to identify the product experiences that will maximize value for both Tivo and our customers. This product owner will partner with the engineering and product marketing teams to develop and launch the new products. Beyond these responsibilities, the product owner will drive business case creation, interact with key vendors and participate in customer roadmap discussions.

The candidate will work out of the Boston, MA office.

Job Requirements:

Experience developing web and/or mobile experiences for multiple audiences
Knowledge and enthusiasm for the entertainment and new media industries is necessary.
Proactive, entrepreneurial and strategically oriented individuals with exposure to all stages and aspects of product management
Demonstrable ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns to senior management.
Candidates must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines imposed by rapid business growth, including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines.
Analytical mindset with ability to map customer requests into feature requirements and financial value for Tivo
Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills.
Strong technical understanding of Internet technologies.
Travel Required – 25%


MBA desirable, but not mandatory
3-5 years of product management or similar experience in Computer Software, B2B, B2B2C, Media/Internet, and Web 2.0/Web 3.0 types of products
Experience working closely with Sales and External B2B Customers
Analytical mind & strong problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats
Proven experience delivering complex products to market.
Experience using Agile development methodologies
Background in the monetization of digital media is a plus
