Senior Security Engineer
ISE
ISE is looking for a Senior Security Engineer with in-depth knowledge and applied use in advanced security protocols and standards, and solid knowledge of security principles and practices as well as the latest technologies.
What you’ll do at ISE:
Conduct highly consultative security reviews of client programs and advise on security best practices for the media and entertainment industry.
Analyze recognized threats and identify and research developing threats to ascertain vulnerabilities in digital media assets, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid architectures.
Plan and execute large-scale application and cloud security engagements during different phases of the lifecycle – assess, design, implementation, and validation.
Assess, design, and audit compliance security policies, controls, and standards; maintain policy and guideline catalog.
Dedicate 50%-100% of time per week to one large client.
What you bring to the table:
8+ years of experience in information security technology – development, architect, or consultant experience preferred.
3+ years of public cloud, application, computing, data storage, virtual networks, big data, and cloud security.
Consultative, customer-centric attitude.
Proven ability to articulate information to clients, vendors, industry, and stakeholders.
Experience with Cloud security design patterns, implementation, and management.
Proficient in software defined computing, microservices, containerization, and elastic compute in the cloud.
Proficiency with security event logs Windows/Unix including integrated SIEM systems, data protection and threat intelligence.
Understanding of network appliance management (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls) in a hybrid cloud environment.
Completed conceptual, logical, and physical security diagrams.
Thorough understanding of vulnerabilities, countermeasures, and risk management methodologies to conduct risk analysis.
Strong comprehension of TCP/IP and software defined networking in the cloud.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including reporting, presentation, and public speaking.
Nice to have (but we can teach you!):
Familiarity with media and entertainment industry security.
Capability of doing hands-on application assessments for other clients.
Experience performing media and entertainment cloud assessments.
Certifications to complete industry cloud assessments, such as AWS, Azure, GCP Professional, BSI, CompTIA Cloud+, CSA, EC-Council, GIAC, ISC2, and PECB.
