Senior Solution Architect

Salesforce is looking to expand our UKI Architect team by hiring a dedicated and hardworking Solution Architect within the Insurance industry.
Salesforce’ goal is to deliver rapid customer solutions for sophisticated business problems. Our industry-aligned Solution Architects play a key role in resolving efficient use of Insurance Cloud and Financial Services Cloud products in the customer environment.
We are looking for industry authorities who are passionate about the digital transformation of the Insurance space and customer experience. Your responsibility is to understand the customer’s business requirements, design, and configure the desired solution.
This is a focused team of industry authorities whose mission is to work with our largest and most meaningful customers and implementation partners to deliver solutions that delight the customers.
Responsibilities
Effective in working with customers, including business executives, business analysts, and IT development staff
Effective in understanding business needs and distilling the information into business and technical requirements
Comfortable working with sophisticated business requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including insurance product configuration, rate models, user stories, business rules, etc.
Speed is paramount. This team is forward-thinking and is the fulcrum to accelerate the delivery of the solution for customers.
A collaborative and empathetic relationship with the business partners will be central to your role. Your dedication to their success should never be in doubt.
You’ll be a key channel back to the Salesforce product management teams as they look to drive innovation and improvements into future releases of industry cloud products.

This role will require travel to customer locations.
Experience
You will have consistent record working on deployment teams, ideally using the Agile development technique
You will have in-depth knowledge of implementing Insurance industry solutions, including product modelling, pricing and insurance industry processes
You will have a demonstrable record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise CRM implementations within the insurance industry
You will have direct experience in working with Salesforce (at an Admin level, minimum)
You’ll be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
You’ll have superb communication skills to connect with customers, partners, and internal team members
You’ll have the vision to help us take our company to the next level
Industry Expertise
In-depth knowledge of key product models in the insurance industry
Project management tools and standard processes
Data modelling
Systems analysis and design
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
