Software Engineer

Responsibilities include working on highly scalable and reliable platform services and components that create the foundation of the core Reltio platform architecture. Supporting, enhancing and fixing solutions that support a rapidly-growing business at a massive scale. Developing and implementing strong algorithms/techniques for solving problems in a high-volume, high-availability environment. Pushing the envelope on what’s possible and applying pragmatic approaches to building sustainable solutions.
Working with support, product management and core engineering to rapidly deliver solutions and fixes to critical customer facing obstacles. Finding opportunities for continuous improvements to our system based on customer and field requests. Continuously looking for ways to optimize and streamline the Reltio Platform to provide a better experience for our customers.
Requirements:Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely-related field of concentration plus 2 years’ in job offered or Software Developer – related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely-related field of concentration plus 5 years’ progressive experience in job offered or Software Developer-related occupation. Education or Experience must include: 1) Designing, developing and testing Big Data analytics and Cloud computing products; 2) Developing Master Data Management (MDM) and Secure Source; 3) Developing and testing MDM products using J2EE technologies including JBOSS EAP, WebLogic and WebSphere; 4) Developing product features for cloud MDM and working towards product stabilization using Salesforce; 5) Developing APIs for services integration framework for MDM using java/J2EE and Databases including Oracle, SQLserver and DB2; 6) Developing Java use exits for MDM products; 7) Developing an integration platform between MDM and ActiveVOS; 8) Developing processes for building and packaging MDM using Install Anywhere, CruiseControl, Jenkins and Perforce; 9) Developing REST services framework for Secure Source product using Java/J2EE; 10) Developing REST services for Secure Source’s user access and Big Data user analytics framework which is built on HBase and 11) Developing backend APIs to query HBase NOSQL database and give results to the UI for Big Data user analytics framework of Secure Source.
