The Product Analytics team for Amazon Video Direct is seeking a highly analytical, curious, resourceful, and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to develop new insights and products for video providers. This is a new team that will be responsible for defining, designing, and building a powerful new platform that enables Amazon Video providers to gain new insights into their audience and content engagement metrics.
You will have a passion to dive deep, a high level of customer focus and a track record in process improvement. The analyst will have technical skills, project management skills and the ability to multi-task and thrive in an energizing environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Science or related edu.
· Knowledge of fundamentals of database design and management.
· 5+ years experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
· Experience in complex data analysis (model creation, what-if scenarios, A/B testing, etc.)
· Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including experience to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA or Master’s Degree Information Science, Data Science or a related field preferred
· Experience on AWS Big Data technologies, like RedShift, S3, Aurora, Data Pipeline, QuickSight, Kinesis, etc.
