Are you an experienced Strategic Sales Manager who has strong communication skills, exceptional empathy, a high EQ and the ability to nurture trusted relationships that can maximize solution adoption and outcome attainment?

Zixi is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to be a Strategic Sales Manager for Europe. This candidate will provide strategic support to our high-profile Europe-based broadcast and media technology accounts, as well as our mutual customers who are major broadcasters, content owners, and media service providers. We are searching someone who has worked in the media industry for 5+ years with effective communication skills and strong emotional intelligence skills. This candidate should enjoy being a problem solver that helps close large business opportunities across functions and drive consensus with various groups and verticals within the internal and customer-facing organization. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to the customer and as a key point of contact between the customer and the various departments within Zixi to ensure high customer satisfaction, encourage continued long-term relationships and grow Zixi’s revenue in the named accounts across Europe. This role will report into the Head of Sales, Europe.

Zixi develops the award-winning ‘Software-Defined Video Platform’ (SDVP). Zixi’s technology is the industry leader in enabling dependable, live broadcast-quality video over any IP network, any protocol, any cloud, and any edge device. We offer technologies for broadcasters, enterprises, over-the-top video providers, and service providers worldwide, making it easy and economical to source, manage and distribute live events and live linear channels securely and at scale. Zixi has more than 400 customers worldwide and is disrupting the way live and live linear video is moved through the internet.

Responsibilities of the Strategic Sales Manager include but are not limited to:

Responsible for generating leads, opportunity creation and demand in key regions.
Work towards a sales plan and strategy, which includes regional and industry-specific opportunity assessment, approach for sales resource investment, customer and prospect prioritization, and operational cadence.
Consistently deliver against productivity and revenue goals.
Understand and continuously learn Cloud and Enterprise Transformation industry trends and technologies in the media space.
Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations on transformation and articulating product concepts to business and technical audiences.
Sustain transparent Salesforce pipeline management and forecasting across the team.
Align cross-functionally across marketing, solutions engineering, and channels.
Communicate and collaborate with sales leadership across all Zixi groups to ensure clear communication, alignment, and cooperation across the sales teams.
Be able to effectively articulate Zixi value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers.
Participate in negotiations to guarantee customer satisfaction and adoption of Zixi technology.
Have sound judgment and decision-making skills to handle complex customer scenarios
Travel as needed to client meetings and international events.

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

Enterprise sales experience in Video Streaming, Online-Video Production, OTT, Analytics, Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Carrier, Security, Networking, IoT or related.
5+ years of direct sales experience in Europe.
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s degree in business or technology or another related field is desired, but not essential.
Proven track record of growing sales quotas consistently.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills when handling customer scenarios.
Ability to work and execute independently while collaborating with functional global teams.
Being proactive, confident, and an entrepreneurial self-starter.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess formal sales training in solution selling and/or value while successfully executing complex sales cycles with Chief Revenue Officer.
Strong knowledge of live video workflows for media and broadcast companies including live linear channel, live event contribution, and OTT delivery using cloud-based services for content ingest, transcoding, repackaging and delivery.
Domain expertise in Broadcast and IP networks and considerable Linux, Windows and Networking hands-on experience would be a value add.
Strong knowledge of video delivery, network infrastructure, internet, CDN, mobile computing, cloud services, security and virtualization.
Experience with cloud software deployments and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
