We currently have an opening for a Client Services / Engineer Support position located in Burbank, CA.

Primary Responsibilities
• Provide first level of support and technical resolution for clients.
• Internally report issues on production and development systems, including documenting procedures, configurations, problem descriptions and resolution.
• Assist cutting-edge research and development initiatives including integration and customization of our proprietary applications with emerging frameworks and platforms.
• Support systems involved in deployment, testing and production environments.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, respond to alerts in a timely fashion, escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain servers worldwide.

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field of study required, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Excellent analytical and investigative troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding work ethic – dedicated, self-motivated, organized, punctual, and able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Advanced skills managing and configuring Windows Server, Linux, MAC, iOS, Android platforms, and networks.
• Familiarity with relational database access and administration (MS-SQL, DDL, DML, TSQL, PL/SQL, JDBC).
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting hardware-based OS and software issues, as well as familiarity with virtual computing environments (AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Parallels).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, hardware, and software configurations.
• Understanding of storage array configuration and communication settings.
• Fundamental understanding of digital A/V, multimedia, and consumer electronic devices and software.

Desired Experience

• Working with Linux systems in large load balanced pools.
• Deploying and troubleshooting LAMP and Tomcat solutions.
• Working with various video formats, transcoding, and DRM.
• Experience with SQL Queries and MongoDB/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of backup systems and software.
• Proficiency in Splunk or similar log parsing.
• Experience with implementing monitoring solutions and scripts, familiarity with monitoring REST, SOAP based web services.
• Knowledge of performance testing and capacity planning strategies.
• Experience with best practices for change management and code releases. Some exposure to continuous integration and related technologies beneficial.
