Tech Manager, UTV/UCP Production – Data Warehousing

The Technical Project Manager, UTV/UCP Production Finance Technology will manage all system development and support for the Universal Television and Universal Cable Production Finance Technology. The manager works across business and IT teams and performs all aspects of project management, functional and technical tasks in order to build and maintain the financial systems and deliver projects.

  • Serve as a primary technology contact to Production Finance business user community for portfolio of applications supporting TV Production Data Warehouse and integrations to vendor payroll systems. Other applications include MicroStrategy, Salesforce, SQL Server, SAP, and Informatica ETL process between outside sources of data and the TVP Data Warehouse.
  • Manage business engagement across the UTV and UCP TV Production Finance
  • Partner with business leaders to identify both short and long term technology needs in alignment with business goals.
  • Proactively build engagement with business and technology partners to elevate subject matter expertise and enable business value through technology and provide quarter close and reporting support to key users.
  • Analyze and document processes along with providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive coordination and collaboration with other IT groups to achieve efficiencies and wider business benefits.
  • Manage projects and enhancements for a portfolio of vendor or custom applications.
    Identify, document, manage prioritization of enhancements to all supported applications.
    Ensure successful execution of all platform projects and enhancements.
    Provide stable and robust environment for business critical systems.
    Develop a system modernization roadmap and execution plan.
  • Manage resources including internal and vendor resources.
  • Manage all projects to compliance, budget, scope and schedule.
  • Provide project plans and regular status to IT Management and Business Partners.
  • Ensure full SOX and IT security compliance across all supported applications.
  • Facilitate delivery across all key stakeholders. This includes business clients, infrastructure, and vendors; closely manage communication and expectations across the different business divisions, functions and IT groups.


  • Strong DATA WAREHOUSING, business intelligence and dashboard development experience particularly Microstrategy, Tableau, Teradata, and Informatica.
  • Minimum 6 years of proven project management skills managing multiple large-scale projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with software development lifecycle
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as IT Manager
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with cross functional, matrix organizations
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with ERP and Cost Accounting Systems
  • Strong finance and accounting experience
  • Strong process documentation and process improvement experience
  • Experience managing development of custom applications using native programming languages (Java, .NET, Ruby) or software platforms (Salesforce, SharePoint, Appian…
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Visio)
  • Excellent understanding of internet and client server architecture. Experience with application development (web servers, databases, web protocols)
  • Demonstrated Strength in Managing Systems Efforts w/ Cross-Functional Teams & Concurrent Deadlines
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Computer-related degree
