UTA seeks an experienced Vice President of Technology Strategy and Planning. In addition to leading the development and implementation of UTA’s strategic initiatives, this role will provide critical support to UTA’s Chief Technology Officer and facilitate seamless operations across the organization.

The salary range for this role is $240,000 to $275,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do

Work closely with the CTO and Technology Leadership team to implement strategic initiatives and long-term planning goals
Act as a liaison between senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination and communication
Ensure that M&A and divestitures are integrated into the full planning roadmap
Serve as the primary contact for all technology contracts, managing the review and renegotiation processes to optimize existing agreements, mitigate risks, and enhance value
Oversee a mature reporting dashboard to report on technology portfolio health, projects, vendors, and financials
Organizational development and talent planning in partnership with the People Team
Partner with the Corporate Communications team for department-wide communications
Coordinate and lead Leadership Team onsites and offsites
Utilize data-driven insights to assess business performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and mitigate potential risks
Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization, implementing best practices and process improvements to optimize workflows and resource allocation
Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive research, and industry trend monitoring to inform strategic decision-making
Help drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience with a strong understanding of technology systems, infrastructure, and software development processes
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required
Strong strategic thinking with a track record of successfully executing technology initiatives aligned with business objectives
Deep understanding of current and emerging project, program, and portfolio management best practices
Proven experience in strategic planning and business analysis, preferably within the entertainment, media, or creative industries
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate future trends and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
