Pandora is looking for an Ad Platform Manager within the Platform and Partner Operations group. This role will focus on ad product Go-To-Market, responsible for the commercialization of Pandora’s ad products and capabilities, supporting the full suite of ad products throughout their life cycle.This is a highly cross functional, senior level role which combines aspects of project management, product management, product marketing, marketing communications, training and enablement.

You enjoy problem solving, organizing and driving consensus. You are an excellent communicator, able to distill the most complex topics clearly across all levels of leadership.You have proven experience managing large scale projects for online or mobile advertising departments, and past success in being a liaison with senior cross functional leaders in Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Ad Technology and Ad Operations.The Ad Platform Manager must understand the full quote to cash process related to ad products: how they are pitched, reserved, trafficked, reported, billed and finally moved through the revenue recognition process.You have an eye for efficiency, scale and automation, and always question how we can make things better, faster, easier.You enjoy working autonomously but thrive on collaboration. You also enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Excellent relationship building skills, communication capabilities, and experience with change management and project management skills are crucial. And, of course, you should love music.

Key Responsibilities

Lead highly strategic initiatives that lead to significant impact on Pandora’s business
Drive working groups, manage program plans, communication and related documentation
Define program scope, objectives and delegation/execution of deliverables throughout lifecycle of program
Drive and champion program strategy from VP level leaders of cross functional teams
Work and communicate effectively with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Design, Finance and Legal to build consensus and meet projected deadlines
Drive, manage and communicate status on programs from conception through launch, and provide post launch analysis
Assist internal teams with developing and communicating best practices around new ad products and technology platforms and related initiatives
Partner with internal teams to develop product marketing and training materials as needed
Build competency and thorough understanding of Pandora advertising products, systems, and internal tools

Preferred Skills And Specifications

BA or BS degree
5+ years of experience as a Program Manager or Ad Technology leader, at an online advertising platform or publisher
Expertise in buying, selling and/or managing digital media campaigns; Measurement expertise a plus
Detail-oriented with a passion to provide informative and scalable solutions and documentation
Outstanding written/verbal communication skills with internal and external audiences
Executive presence; prepared to surface updates and/or deliver presentations to C-Level executives
Proven ability to build VP level relationships across Pandora’s business, to lead cross functional teams and to influence decision making
Expert level knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
Experience managing large scale programs with Sales, Product and/or Engineering teams in a leadership capacity
Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
Experience with industry standard web and mobile advertising operations vendors and concepts is a plus
Excellent analytical skills
Proficiency with SFDC, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SmartSheet, JIRA and other productivity tools
