We are using the latest technologies running on open source big data platforms and deployed on a public cloud. Our team is comprised of engineers with experience building UI, analytics, and big data platforms.
Position Summary
We are looking for a front end developer to join Gracenote’s Big Data team. The focus of this position is to develop beautiful and functional web applications to display everything from big data dashboards to metadata editors for some of the largest network television companies.
What You Will Be Doing:
Building web applications for big data visualization, advanced UIs for managing and accessing the huge portfolio of Gracenote entertainment data
Working with the latest JavaScript and Big Data technologies
Requirements:
4+ years of JavaScript, HTML, & CSS experience developing web applications
Experience with React JS and Redux (AngularJS is a plus)
Detailed knowledge of CSS3, SASS, responsive design
Experience with Node.js
Experience with Webpack and Babel
Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
Self-awareness, drive, and a desire to continually improve
Bonus Points:
A passion for great UI and UX
Experience with Elasticsearch
Golang knowledge
Cloud experience
