My Eye Media Expands Quality Control Services, Continues Investing in High Dynamic Range (MESA)

My Eye Media has announced their continued expansion of high dynamic range with wider color gamut and immersive audio quality control services as content owners and distributors fast-track efforts to deliver next generation imagery and immersive audio, including Dolby Atmos, to consumers.

By conducting QC passes on SMPTE 2084 monitors capable of displaying Dolby Vision content as well as shifting its workflows towards HDR adoption, My Eye Media is meeting the rapidly rising demand for HDR QC solutions from top content producers.

“HDR content has already been implemented with streaming service providers and will become available to consumers on UHD Blu-ray Disc this year. The experience we have gained this past year evaluating HDR master files will be applied to the testing of these discs when they are released,” says Steve Waugh, My Eye Media CTO.

UHD Blu-ray provides customers with enhanced features like UHD resolution video, High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos moving audio.

My Eye Media’s 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Burbank facility is equipped with multiple bays capable of the technical analysis of UHD, HDR with wider color gamut and Dolby Atmos.
