Prime Focus Technologies Adds Cisco Vet Devarajan (MESA)

Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), the technology arm of post-production and media tech company Prime Focus, has added Cisco Systems India veteran Samu Devarajan as its new independent and non-executive director, the company announced. “Dev is a pioneer in the Technology industry and we are thrilled to welcome Devarajan to the PFT board,” said Ramki Sankaranarayanan, Prime Focus Technologies’ founder and CEO. “We believe Dev’s past experience in growing organizations will be a boon to PFT as it continues to grow around the world.”…
As CEO and managing director of Cisco Systems in India, he managed the company’s largest research and development center outside of the U.S. and grew the company from the ground up to approximately 3,500 employees for Cisco India.
Before Cisco, Devarajan was managing director of technology design firm Tata Elxsi, turning the company from a financial loser to one of the more successful organizations under the worldwide Tata group.
In addition to his new role with Prime Focus Technologies, Devarajan will continue in his positions as chairman at ADC India Communications, independent director at Neilsoft Ltd., and founder and president of his own strategy and consulting firm, Transmation Consulting.
Devarajan added: “I look forward to joining in, and contributing to, the growth of an organization that is on the leading edge of cloud solutions for the media and entertainment industry. PFT’s Media ERP SaaS offering allows enterprises to effectively transform themselves digitally.”
