Wipro, Tableau Partner on Business Intelligence Solutions (SCN)

IT and business process services company Wipro has announced a new partnership with New Jersey-based business analytics software company Tableau to offer joint business intelligence solutions worldwide, the companies announced. The partnership will see the two offer “holistic, future proof and ready-to-go advanced visualization solutions to their customers across the globe,” a joint statement read, with Wipro focusing on solutions primarily in financial services, retail, consumer packaged goods and pharmaceuticals, specifically cloud-based delivery models like subscription-based pricing.

“We have seen significant traction from the market for the robust visualization platform offered by Tableau,” said Pallab Deb, VP and global head of analytics for Wipro. “With this global alliance we aim to integrate Tableau in our solutions to help clients unlock the power of big data.”

The partnership kicked off with a recent Tableau Innovation Day at Wipro’s Bangalore, India campus, and Tableau has also set up a dedicated Tableau Academy to help pool resources with Wipro.

“Wipro’s globally recognized innovative approach delivering business value coupled with Tableau’s disruptive software will allow us to help organizations empower their workforce to see and understand their data and quickly adapt to ever changing market needs,” said Michael Hoff, VP of Americas for Tableau.
