ContentBridge Appoints Fernando Gonzalez Director Of Operations and Sales (MESA)

ContentBridge has appointed Fernando Gonzalez Director of Operations and Sales. The announcement was made by ContentBridge CEO Jason Peterson. “Fernando (Gonzalez) has a unique combination of technical, administrative and organization skills,” says Peterson. “He’s a consummate post production professional that quickly adapted to our changing business model, and better yet, was able to communicate these changes to our clients and help them reach their goals.” According to Peterson, the last year has seen a change to the ContentBridge mission, necessitating not only a move of company headquarters to the Equinix Data Center in El Segundo, but a need to name a Director of Operations to oversee the new business model. “We transitioned ContentBridge from a managed service for the world’s largest entertainment studios to a workflow orchestrated platform in the Cloud, says Peterson. “ContentBridge digital distribution software is now resource agnostic, use the Cloud or via any on-premise resource.”

For his part, Gonzalez was eager to lead the ContentBridge team at this critical juncture. “Our ContentBridge platform is a suite of five software utilities that stand ready to help content holders at any point in the distribution chain,” says Gonzalez. “Automated ingest, quality assurance and correction. Digital app management of all component elements with a robust configurable workflow for creating any type of distribution or playout package. ContentBridge continues to offer the industry’s most flexible means to manipulate content.”

New Duties
Gonzalez will be tasked with managing day to day operations through his Client Services team to efficiently and successfully ingest, on-board and deliver client media. Along with on-boarding clients, Gonzalez will continue to invent, optimize and update all operation workflows. Although ContentBridge unveiled a new UI last year, Gonzalez is continually working with his team of development engineers to keep the interface as simple and user-friendly as possible. In addition to being liaison between clients and retailers, Gonzalez will also work the sales side, appearing at industry events, doing general sales presentations and demos.

Fernando’s Digital Past
Gonzalez holds a degree in Audio/Video Production from the Art Institute of California, Los Angeles. He began his career completing quality control on audio, video and subtitles as a Netflix CQC Operator at MyEyeMedia. He then worked as a Vault/Digital Asset Specialist at Advanced Digital Services before starting out at ContentBridge as a Systems Specialist. Last year, he was promoted to Director of Managed Services before being named Director Of Operations and Sales.
