Fox’s Dunn Promoted to President, Product Strategy, Consumer Business Development (MESA)

Mike Dunn, longtime president of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Worldwide and a director of the Fox Innovation Lab, has been elevated at the studio to the newly created position of president of product strategy and consumer business development, effective immediately. The new role sees Dunn tackling cross-functional consumer business development and product strategy for emerging media platforms, partnerships, new business initiatives, and new distribution models, along with partnerships with consumer electronics and technology companies. He’ll continue to oversee home entertainment operations for Fox.

“It is an incredibly dynamic time in the industry with a rapidly evolving media landscape, and Fox has a significant opportunity to leverage technology and new business opportunities to liberate the creative vision of our films,” Dunn said.

Stacey Snider, chair and CEO of 20th Century Fox, added: “Mike has been an industry leader helping to ensure Fox is driving the development of innovative technology and new consumer experiences across all formats and distribution models. I am confident that elevating him into this newly created role will further our position as a global leader in the new media landscape.”

Dunn currently serves as chair of the Digital Entertainment Group’s (DEG) board of directors, and on the Consumer Technology Association’s (CTA) Board of Industry Leaders (BIL).
