BTI Studios Appoints Oskars Killo as Sales Director for EMEA Market (MESA)

BTI Studios has appointed Oskars Killo as new Sales Director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). BTI Studios already has an established reputation in the EMEA territories, servicing many local and international broadcasters and content holders via its 21 global dubbing and subtitling facilities. Killo’s remit will be to continue BTI’s business development in the EMEA territories at a time when the explosion in film and TV entertainment output is driving ever-greater demand for localization services.

Killo comes to BTI with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. His previous employers include 20th Century Fox, CEE Films and Acme Film, working within TV content and theatrical film sales and distribution across the EMEA region. “Oskars’ experience in both the entertainment industry and international theatrical sales will make him an invaluable asset to BTI as demand for localization services continues to grow,” Björn Lifvergren, CEO, BTI Studios, said. “We’re delighted to welcome him on board.”

oskars_blog_pic Oskars Killo, Sales Director EMEA, said: “BTI is a dynamic and fast-growing company that is continuing to build its global network of facilities. BTI’s infrastructure allows it to service clients from fully owned local dubbing and subtitling facilities, with a strict eye on quality and security. This offering means they already have strong relationships with many major broadcasters, distributors and film studios. However, there is high potential for even greater growth and I’m thrilled to be moving into this role at such an exciting time for BTI and the media localization industry.”

Killo’s will create an even bigger gateway for film studios, distributors and broadcasters across the EMEA territories to access BTI’s global footprint of localization services.
