IYUNO Media Group Taps Allan Demby for New CTO Role (MESA)

Coming off the heels of its merger with Los Angeles-based localization firm BTI Studios, IYUNO Media Group is bringing Vubiquity and On Demand Group alumnus Allan Dembry into the fold as its new CTO. Dembry will split his time between IYUNO’s L.A. and London facilities, where he’ll oversee all aspects of the company’s technology, with a focus on developing industry leading platforms and technologies that contribute to IYUNO’s continued growth, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.

“Our customer centric vision at IYUNO Media Group means we want to be known for quality, efficiency and security. Allan will provide support in all of these areas,” said IYUNO executive chairman David Lee. “In addition, he will oversee our engineering, infrastructure and networking teams. Working with our experts across the globe, he’ll be looking at everything from development processes, all the way through to vendor relationships.”

Dembry most recently served as CIO of Vubiquity, a post he held for nearly seven years. Prior to that, he was CTO of Vubiquity’s predecessor, On Demand Group. During his time with Vubiquity, he served as the technology lead for all aspects of software development, overseeing the IT infrastructure, support, and software development, along with the company’s hosted VOD. platforms. He integrated disparate technology teams and solutions across U.S. and UK.

“Allan is the right fit for IYUNO Media Group, which is in the middle of the largest growth period in the company’s history,” says IYUNO CEO Shaun Gregory. “I look forward to working closely with Allan as we drive the direct to consumer wave of content with our best-in-class localization services worldwide.”

Dembry added: “IYUNO Media Group is perfectly positioned in a red-hot marketplace where I feel my expertise will come to good use. I look forward to the next chapter in my career working for an organization that is taking localization services to an entirely new level.”
