Adobe Makes Executive Leadership Team Moves (MESA)

Adobe has announced a few changes to its executive leadership team, with Donna Morris, EVP and chief human resources officer (CHRO), leaving the company, and EVP Gloria Chen, a 20-year company vet, taking over the CHRO role immediately.

Chen most recently served as EVP of strategy and growth, as well as chief of staff to the CEO.

Additionally, Adobe CTO Abhay Parasnis will now take over responsibility for corporate strategy and development, which includes oversight of global partnerships and mergers and acquisitions.

“Gloria has made a tremendous impact throughout her career at Adobe, driving corporate strategy, global operations and business transformation, and I’m excited for her to now take on the role of chief human resources officer,” said Shantanu Narayen, Adobe president and CEO. “Abhay’s technology vision and deep understanding of the industry landscape make him an ideal candidate to lead corporate strategy and development in addition to his role as chief technology officer.

“Both of these talented leaders embody the best of Adobe and will play expanded roles in our continued success.”

During her time with Adobe, Morris played a major role in Adobe’s business transformation, introducing innovative workplace policies, including expanded family leave, gender pay parity and opportunity parity.

“A pioneer of progressive workplace policies, Donna has been a role model of our values and her leadership has been instrumental in making Adobe a great place to work. We wish her well,” Narayen said.
