Expert System Names Walt Mayo Group CEO (MESA)

Artificial intelligence specialist Expert System has named Walt Mayo as its group CEO, charging him with both scaling the company’s U.S. business and accelerating ongoing global growth endeavors. Mayo brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing and channel development leadership experience to the role, mostly working with high-growth tech and scale-up businesses.

Prior to Expert System, Mayo was director of Unitus Capital, CEO of CloudFX, and SVP of international expansion for Endeavor Global, an impact capital organization focused on scale-up businesses. In that latter role, he helped more than triple the company’s global market reach and uncovered major new sources of revenue. Mayo previously worked at Dell across a range of sales, marketing, software, and channel management roles.
