Iyuno Media Group COVID-19 Update (MESA)

Iyuno Media Group continues to experience shifts in our global operations due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In the face of ongoing change, we remain committed to being your trusted partner.

Continuous Changes in the Landscape

As of yesterday and on a positive note, Iyuno Hilversum has resumed operations with extra measures of hygiene and protection for our staff and freelancers.

Some examples include:

• Established a contactless sign-in procedure
• Installed plexiglass safety screens at reception desks and all other appropriate locations
• Implemented extensive in-studio hygiene, including disposable barriers and equipment covers where appropriate, cleaning and disinfecting after every recording session
• Closed off the cafeteria and common areas
• Maintaining a safe physical distance between all personnel at all times

We are carefully monitoring this early step to resume operations in Hilversum, and by all means are following local government guidelines, while we strive to bring our people back to work and deliver the projects you have entrusted to us.

Remote Dubbing Platform and Application

Iyuno is continuing its beta trial period of our Remote Dubbing Platform and Application and expects to have sample projects available for demonstration in select languages later this month. If you are interested in hearing more about the beta trial, please contact us at [email protected].

Uninterrupted Media Services

Our end-to-end media services remain fully operational with most facilities performing work on- premise and some facilities performing tasks remotely. Steps we are taking to get through the crisis include expanding upon our existing cloud-based storage and media processing solutions. We are also bringing more cloud-based collaborative tools online to engage staff from various geographic locations on shared projects. We are managing team workloads by utilizing a ‘follow the sun’ approach that allows all facilities to operate within normal business hours. Frequent communication through multiple channels is being maintained with global project management teams, team leads and media servicing staff so that project priorities are managed following client expectations.

Empowering Our Remote Workforce

At Iyuno we’re focused on supporting our employees through increased global communications, health and stress-relief tips, containment measures, risk mitigation tactics and other ways to help stop the spread of the virus while maintaining continuity of service. We’ve equipped our regional leaders with the resources they need to request added support and provide frequent updates on local government guidelines affecting operations. Additionally, Iyuno is embracing the full power of technology to support our remote workforce. Whether to deliver daily work reports, facilitate company culture activities or host virtual coffee breaks and happy hours—we are inspired by how the entire Iyuno team has embraced this change, and we hope that it inspires you too.
