Iyuno Media Group COVID-19 Update (MESA)

We are in unprecedented times. With the ongoing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the incredible speed at which things are changing around us, we continue to adapt.

Adjustments to our Global Facilities

Our latest update is that Iyuno Indonesia has escalated to Level 3. As always, we will ensure that any specific projects impacted by this change will be communicated by your regular points of contact. We continue to work to find solutions for your productions––using every means at our disposal including partner studios when appropriate.

On the other end of the scale, Iyuno Hilversum resumed operations last week and remains in production today. Our Managing Director of the facility shared this observation, that although there was an eerie silence––with no background noises, coffee machines running, casual conversations in the shared areas, cafeteria or lobby, it was a nonetheless a positive first step towards the return to business as usual with each studio successfully completing safe and productive recording sessions.

Anticipated Returns to Production

We are looking forward to reopening our facilities across the globe and as we gain clarity on our official dates in the coming weeks, we will continue to update you. In anticipation of this eventuality, safety remains a key priority to protect our customers, freelancers, and employees. We are proactively taking steps to establish new operating standards and hygiene protocols that enable us to resume our delivery of production volumes safely and effectively including some of the following examples:

• Enabling social distancing with flexible work scheduling and guidelines for Managers in the supervision of workers operating from home
• Providing frequent company communications on the status of the global crisis and reporting on quarantines, lockdowns and the spread of the virus in all local offices
• Contactless thermometers for temperature readings required before entering facilities
• Shipping sanitization supplies (masks, sanitizer lotion, and disinfectant) weekly to locations
where those items are in shorter supply
• Regular disinfection of office furniture and equipment
• Enhancing our company Illness & Injury Prevention Policy to accommodate a choice between remote work guidelines and providing enhanced paid and unpaid sick leave options to allow employees to address illness in both employees and their family members, without risking exposure of their co-workers

Appropriately, these precautions will be in place for as long as necessary to provide as safe a work environment as possible.
