CHESA Hires Industry Veteran K. Douglas Price to Head Up Sales for the Central Region of the U.S.

CHESA’s continued expansion into the central region further solidifies their focus on expanding their physical footprint across the United States including Rocky Mountain, Los Angeles, New York, DC, Virginia, Baltimore and a Federal Division. From the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River, Price will continue to provide his expertise as an industry veteran to represent CHESA’s offerings.

Offerings include consulting, design, system integration, cloud services, and service level support. “Doug brings so much to our CHESA team with respect to thought leadership and seasoned M&E sales experience. I’m excited to have him drive our Central US business”, says Lance Hukill, CHESA Vice President of Sales.

With over 25 years in the industry, first five as a video editor, Doug started working with clients to support the best solutions for their needs over 22 years ago. Starting at Boris FX, Doug eventually managed their sales in North America, convincing Boris to build the Boris Continuum Complete plugins for Avid users.

This quickly became one of the fastest growing solutions in the industry.  Avid OEM’d the solution, where Doug made his way for a 14-year tenure, first as Avid’s channel manager, then West Coast Sales Manager, and finally National Director of Sales for Sports. Doug has built a solid reputation for taking care of his clients, meeting their needs both economically and through consultative solution sales.

Doug takes every opportunity to learn as much as possible about his clients’ needs today, where they are going in the future, and building the right sized solution that grows with his clients.  Doug has clients’ best interest at heart, on every deal. “I’m excited to work with the fantastic CHESA Team. Working with them in the past, now I’m truly looking forward to being part of this amazing team. CHESA has been providing exceptional service and solutions for as long as I have been in the industry, so to be a part of this team is a tremendous opportunity I couldn’t pass up”.

When not on the road working, Doug loves to spend time with his Wife of 26+ years, their grown kids, friends and working in his yard making the neighbors jealous.  Doug is an avid Baseball and College Football fan and plays golf (not well). And the K. stands for Kenneth, but that is his dad’s name, so his friends call him Doug.
