Film Festival Flix Announces Burien Film, Lady Filmmakers Festival Partnerships

Virtual film festivals and curated streaming channel specialist Film Festival Flix has announced two new virtual fest partnerships, one completed and the other about to launch.

First, the digital content platform successfully hosted the 12th annual Lady Filmmakers Festival from Sept. 23–Oct. 11, virtually presenting 30 film blocks, covering social awareness films, female action films, dance movies, quarantine-related content, Halloween shorts, and more. Festival content — available via FilmFestivalFlix.com and the Film Festival Flix TV and mobile apps — also included panels with female filmmakers, producers and casting directors.

Next up is the 2020 Burien Film Festival, presented virtually on Film Festival Flix’s digital streaming platform Oct. 16-26, with 26 short films on the schedule.

Normally held live in Burien, Wash., the festival celebrates local and international short films, with this year’s event including six programs, with themes ranging from hyperlocal shorts to worldwide content. A $20 pass will provide unlimited anytime access to view the shorts during in the 10-day festival period.
