New partnership will provide enhanced file storage capacity for end-to-end video surveillance solution.

Through this new partnership, Stone Security customers will have access to enhanced cloud storage capacity for digital video surveillance files through Wasabi’s low-cost, flexible, and high-performing cloud offering.

The migration from analog to internet protocol (IP)-based video cameras has made the adoption of surveillance technology less expensive and more accessible for law enforcement, cities, retail locations, airports, large venues and workplaces around the globe. This increased use of video surveillance has led to a spike in file storage with a single day of video surveillance creating petabytes (PBs) of data worldwide. With surveillance files needing to be saved for a considerable amount of time to be effective and compliant, companies are faced with a data storage conundrum where traditional on-premise storage options are unsustainable due to limited capacity and increased risks of data loss.

By partnering with Wasabi, Stone Security is able to provide its clients with a solution to this problem by migrating file storage directly to the cloud.
