Sony, Warner, A+E Offer Perspectives at ITS Localisation

Dubbing Scriptwriter Troester to Keynote Feb. 29 ITS Localisation

Änne Troester, dubbing scriptwriter and board member with the German dubbing association Synchronverband e.V. will deliver the opening keynote of the Feb. 29 ITS Localisation event in London.

Troester’s presentation — “It’s all About EntertAInment and Authenticity – The Creative View” — is all about the power of dubbing creators, including scriptwriters, translators, and voice actors. The audience doesn’t see a translated movie, as they do when they watch a film with subtitles, they just see the movie. And they should have the same experience in their own language that the audience watching the movie in the original language would have.
