Alexia Clayborne identifies as an aspiring servant leader on a lifelong journey of light, love, and joy. She envisions a world where everyone belongs. Alexia recognizes like many that the human, geopolitical, and business cases for inclusion dictates we all work towards that goal. As Director of Inclusion and Accessibility for Microsoft’s Events, Studios, and Marketing Community organization, she actively works towards that goal through co-creation. In her words, success resembles a world where anti-racism is our way of life, sustainability is deeply embedded in our systems, and equity and empathy are at the center of how we engage with one another. Equally, all under-represented groups will have their blueprint of self-sufficient infrastructure realized (leveraging technology as a key partner), and ableism will be a reality of the past. As a Black and openly queer woman, Alexia is a super fan of living in one’s truth and highlighting the humanity in all of us. Alexia has a 9 year old daughter named Eleanor. Eleanor is autistic and non-verbal, and the way in which she sees the world and functions within it have had great impact on Alexia’s path.
