The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes place early in January and is now one of the biggest shows in the global Home Entertainment Calendar.

UHD and HDR will again take centre stage in January 2016, while digital content management and security will have a very  strong presence. The next steps towards prolonging the physical media roadmap will also be covered, with  UHD BD expected to feature.

At the recent Content Community and Member Advisory Board meetings, keeping abreast of UHD, specifically for
the European market, was identified as one of the priority areas and will be a recurring theme during the 2016
MESA Europe programme of events.

sponsorsThe calendar will begin on 20th January, with a focussed review of the key announcements from CES and an in depth analysis of their likely impact within the European region. A number of key exhibitors from the Las Vegas show will be on hand to share details of their show highlights.

As UHD gathers momentum in Europe the Breakfast briefing will also be an ideal time to hear from some of the people closely involved in bringing the full UHD and HDR experience to European consumers and learn about the key milestones for the year ahead and the hurdles that still need to be overcome.
