The Dispute & Investigations practice at Alvarez & Marsal comprise Financial Accounting & Investigations, Dispute Advisory, Business Intelligence, Cyber Advisory & Protection and Forensic Technology.

Our Cyber team works at Board level to ensure that our clients have adequate procedures in place to monitor, detect and respond to cyber risk and there are four service areas where we can deliver capability;

As organizations become ever more dependent on technology and cyber attacks become more sophisticated, there is an increasing requirement for skilled cyber professionals. At A&M we are continuing to expand our global cyber operations in line with the growing demand for our services so we are looking for a skilled Associate to support this growth and become a leader of the future.

Responsibilities

Our team provide cyber advisory services to determine the current state of cyber security maturity and identify potential security gaps.

Associates will work in teams that are responsible for the identification of weaknesses and system misconfigurations that could be exploited by malicious actors.
Associates will conduct incident response investigations and advisory services for a wide variety of clients across a variety of sectors.
Associates will be involved in all aspects of incident response activity, in addition to working alongside Cyber security leadership within complex security infrastructures to design, communicate and execute incident response, containment and remediation plans.
Associate will contribute to Incident Response and Cybersecurity framework review engagements – quickly becoming accepted as part of the fabric of the client’s management team in order to deliver exceptional quality of execution.
Successful Associates will be action oriented self-starters with entrepreneurial flair. They will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high performing team.

Academics and qualifications

The successful candidate may hold some of the following qualifications:

GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)
GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
CREST Registered Intrusion Analyst (CR IA)
CREST Certified Host Intrusion Analyst (CC HIA)
CCNIA Certified Network Intrusion Analyst (CC NIA)
Knowledge of Cyber Security trends combined with a passion for the sector

Understanding of network traffic analysis, SQL, Python, Javascript, Web application testing
A strong academic record that could include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
