The Cloud Services Team is looking for world class developers to design, implement and enhance our Cloud Services. We are cloud agnostic and our solutions are deployed in AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities:

Be a customer advocate – identify feature enhancements and usability improvements that enhance the experience of a customer using MarkLogic products.
Design, develop, execute and automate tests for MarkLogic products and services which includes API, GUI and client-side packages
Perform API and system testing for new features and enhancements.
Proactively analyze regressions defects, conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed information to help development fix the issue
Enhance existing test frameworks and also build new test framework as needed
Learn different software stacks and SDK APIs using Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure)
Monitor daily and weekly run regression tests and help with maintenance, operations and release activities.
Configure and set up different software stacks
Be an active participant in product requirements, functional specification and design specification reviews
Possess good communication skills to interact with both local and remote teams effectively.

Qualifications:

0-3 years of experience in automation engineering
Strong programming experience using Java/Python
Familiarity with various data formats – JSON, XML and familiarity with search technologies
Strong UNIX/Linux operational skills and experience with Shell scripting is a plus
Experience with Public Cloud (AWS/Azure) is a plus
Enterprise-level databases experience (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL or any NoSQL database) is a plus.
Experience with building/maintaining test framework, tools a plus.
Familiarity with UI frameworks (Angular and/or React) a plus
Experience with Jenkins is a plus
