Verizon Media is looking for an experienced Creative Strategist for its branded content studio:

Versatile: You are equal parts creative and strategic, able to balance creative integrity with business needs

Responsibilities:

Collectively work with the sales team to understand clients’ qualified and measurable KPIs, and then identify the most creative solutions

Lead creative strategy and development for RFPs, RFIs, and proactive requests within your content area of expertise

Build innovative, creative content sponsorship offerings that will be attractive to brands

Facilitate brainstorming with publisher editorial teams to ensure that creative concepts are in line with organic programming and audience consumption habits

Own the development of creative, strategic integrated custom programs for a variety of clients, working alongside internal programming, development, talent, and production teams

Develop clear, compelling pitch materials that sell through our insights, ideas, and our value to clients

Create and educate on effective distribution strategies based both on platform-specific best practices while tying back to client KPIs

Help to create strong packaging around creative ideas so they meet our business goals and ensure measurable success for our clients

Manage the transition of sold programs to the Content Development and Program Management teams and support in post-sale as appropriate

Qualifications:

7+ years of creative strategy experience at an agency, content studio or brand

A strong understanding of content marketing and best-practices across all digital formats and social channels

Experience pitching high-level concepts effectively to both internal stakeholders and clients.

The ability to leverage research and insights to successfully reinforce client strategy

A self-starter that proactively seeks opportunities to leverage and can hit the ground running

A willingness to embrace a culture of collaboration

A person people would describe as dynamic, inspiring and highly intelligent
