Deployment Engineer

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Do you want to help us build the next generation cloud-based Application in a fast-paced startup culture that has the muscle and stability of SAP? In this role, you will work closely with innovative companies interested in leveraging our data protection solution for cloud deployments. You will use your knowledge to influence customer decisions, provide insightful solutions, and drive successful implementations. Be ready to hit the ground running with your potent technical capabilities, critical and creative thinking, and passion for fast-paced problem solving.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Be a part of the product team to drive development of new products
Work with the customer’s technical teams on defining and scoping custom demos / PoCs
Execute on assigned tasks for development and demo projects. Tasks could include: product development, demo design, coding, testing, documentation and support.
Experience in deploying enterprise software in customer environments.
Support in de-escalation and critical projects, especially on complex scenarios and cross product processes.
Recommend customers for these projects based on experience working with them in the field.
Lead projects to impact product via findings at customer sites. Ensure that findings are implemented into the product.
Team work – Experience in working with multifunctional team of Solution Management/Subject Matter Experts and Development.
Communication – Excellent English communication skills is mandatory
Soft Skills – self-motivated, creative & innovative, pragmatic, demonstrates maturity & emotional intelligence, especially since the role requires extensive collaboration between multiple stakeholders working in a global setup
Education and Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualification.
Act as lead for advanced projects, working with development on solutions and product training.
7+ years’ experience with cross product projects.
