Our Metadata Services provide the foundation for intuitive search and navigation, enabling users to easily find and learn more about their favorite TV shows, movies, music, celebrities, sports, books, and games, as well as discover new ones.

Responsibilities of this Staff Software Engineer position include the following:

Design, software development, and maintenance of key systems and features.
Working in a SCRUM/Agile environment with 2 or 3-week Sprints and Daily Standups.

Required Experience & Skills:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in high-tech software development
Expertise with a variety of latest programming languages (Java, Python)
Experience in developing software in the network (data center, cloud) that is scalable, performant and reliable.
Experience in RDBMS
Experience in Spring Framework.

Additional qualifications:

Experience in No-SQL (Mongo Cassandra) document databases is a plus.
Expertise in web crawler development and data mining a definite plus.
Experience with developing microservices, RabbitMQ queueing, Kafka streams is a plus.
