Global Web Production Manager

The Global Web Production Manager (GWPM) is responsible for the overall coordination, planning and execution of adobe.com projects, ensuring consistency with Adobe’s strategy, commitments and business objectives. The GWPM leads the Global production teams to deliver projects on time and budget. This is accomplished through effective management of the project schedule, issues, risks, and deliverables per the Adobe SDLC. The GWPM must be adept at managing project sponsors, leading project resources, balancing costs, risks and benefits to achieve optimal short-term and long-term business outcomes. This position will be accountable for all aspects of project delivery to the agreed scope, plan and budget. The GWPM will be communicating with IT and Business partners daily and will call out issues and risks as appropriate to the established steering and oversight committees. As part of the Global Site Experience team, the GWPM will provide input on project management templates and processes striving for continuous improvement and standardization.

Responsibilities

Align with Director of Global web production to support revenue growth through new and existing Adobe web sites. Achieve project and business objectives for budget, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction.
Strategize and continually build up the adobe.com team to deliver an elite site
Provide leadership and management of a team Global web producers and specialists. Coach, mentor, motivate and collaborate with project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Lead project implementation teams to deliver high quality solutions while promoting a collaborative environment across IT, Business and implementation partner resources.
Handle sourcing and hiring new team members as needed
Manage team expense and other team administrative requirements
Key driver and collaborator of process development and quality improvements on an ongoing basis
Conduct performance reviews using Adobe’s performance management process (clearly define goals and review these regularly)
Train and develop employees. Build and foster a positive team environment.
Solicit comments from the stakeholders on obstacles to success, or ideas for operational improvements. Liaison with Marketing teams and eCommerce teams to ensure they’re getting full attention
Provide the organization with documented issue process and measure responsiveness to the customer.
Build and manage intra-company relationships between departments that support or influence the Global web organization. Foster collaboration between interdepartmental teams
Build mutual communication and collaboration on projects, processes and initiatives.

Requirements

Ambitious with strong leadership and presence with the ability to establish and maintain credibility and trust with both team members and senior management.
Excellent presentation/oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to lead by influence and impact business decisions/processes through effective collaboration
Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities, consistently meeting deadlines
Adept at conducting research into project-related issues
Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment
Experience with critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Web Producer or Project Manager responsible for implementing cross functional application projects in a complex, global environment
Management of numerous successful global website projects
Experience using various project management methodologies with the ability to tailor approach for project success
Experience in successfully managing cross functional teams
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience with a web content management system
