Purpose and Objective:

SAP Global Marketing, Inc. seeks an Integrated Marketing Programs Expert at our Palo Alto, CA location to, under supervision, work on the development and successful implementation of integrated marketing strategies and programs including cross-functional strategic initiatives, both customer-facing and internal.

Expectations and Tasks:

Collaborate with various internal and external teams including global, regional and local teams to capitalize on marketing mix with emphasis on the customer. Conduct market research and develop insights to inform global marketing strategies for the company. Define primary research requirements and manage external agencies to create, execute, and analyze proprietary research studies. Work independently with Corporate Strategy, Strategic Planning and Marketing Performance Management to determine strategic goals and KPIs, appropriate go to market strategies and translate into strategic programs. Develop and evolve brand positioning and narrative, solution and product positioning and messaging frameworks. Proactively align with business stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies and programs closely align to business and sales goals. Demonstrate high level of expertise in the evaluation of overall business and marketing performance to drive strategic change and refine programs for a real business impact. 20% travel required.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, or related and 7 years of experience required. Will accept a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience.  

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 5 years with the following: advanced strategy development; customer needs assessment; competitive intelligence gathering; market research; messaging and positioning development; data analysis; financial modeling; preparation of executive-level reports and communications; guidance and project structuring of cross-functional, and virtual teams; developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing plans; creation of marketing strategies based on demand and lead management principles; conducting competitive analysis of ERP and Cloud software vendors and articulate key differentiators; and creating joint marketing plans with System Integrator (SI) and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners. 20% travel required.
