Operations Program Manager, Movies and TV, Google Play

The Movies and TV Content Operations team in Google Play is looking for a senior operations program manager to develop and run processes for managing content distribution in the cloud.

Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for your devices, powered by the cloud. It’s a Google approach to entertainment, syncing magically across your devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping the product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team helps strengthen the overall Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.
Responsibilities

Create and manage digital workflow, business process for offer and content management.
Manage day to day workflow on content ingestion and dependent processes.
Lead onboarding and operational account management for video content into the platform with content providers and support teams. Define and lead requirements for digital supply chain workflow, tools, systems, and processes across multiple integrated processes and teams.
Develop templates, specifications, and guidelines for day to day business process.
Lead interactions with third party service providers, content providers, and teams across the company and drive internal metrics for measuring performance, quality of processes, resourcing, and ROI.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree in business, operations, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience driving business process improvements.
Experience in monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
Experience leading projects virtually.

Preferred qualifications:

3 years of experience in supply chain, project management, content operations, or service operations in a digital distribution environment.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma process improvement methodologies or PMI.
Experience working in video content management, web content management, digital media production, workflow, CMS, and content operations.
Experience in entertainment industry with VOD or live video services.
