Wasabi is a Hot Cloud Storage startup with an explosive growth. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this fast-paced and constantly growing environment, we expect this individual to adapt to the changing needs and requirements.

We also expect the individual to be a self-starter, fast learner, team player and knowledgeable about QA processes and automation.
Responsibilities

Participate in the complete software development life cycle from understanding the requirements to deployment of the product
Work with remote QA team, provide guidance to the remote team members on questions involving automation and general functional and regression tests.
Write test plans for new features, track test results and report defects as an individual contributor
Diagnose, research, and reproduce customer reported issues. Work with developers in getting resolutions.
Review technical documentation and provide feedback
Work closely and build relationships with the rest of the Wasabi team, including Customer support, DevOps and Development

Skills

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
5+ years with Master’s or 7+ years with Bachelors of relevant QA and automation experience
Experience and knowledge in the following areas:
Enterprise-oriented cloud services such as AWS
Consumer-oriented cloud services including Dropbox, Google Drive, Carbonite, etc.
Storage applications with cloud interfaces such as, CloudBerry and Cyberduck
Network administration and strong knowledge of TCP/IP
Windows and/or Mac OS administration and system configuration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required technical skills:

Thorough knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, Mac and Windows operating systems.
UI Automation skills using Python and Selenium
Some knowledge of Ansible scripts

Additional technical skills:

Premises storage technology
Virtualization technology (VMWare, Hyper-V, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, etc.)
