Applicaster

Applicaster is looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to join its Sales team in US.

Reporting to the GM US, this position requires experience in business planning, operational strategy and execution.

This individual will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and driving increased revenues from Applicaster’s existing relationships in the region alongside establishing Applicaster as the premier app creator for multi-screen content, social and second screen solutions for the TV Industry. The Sales Manager will need to act as a trusted advisor to the broadcasters in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying leads and key stakeholders within the TV Industry
  • Proactively seek sales to potential customers for all of Applicaster products and services
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Provide quotes, proposals and make follow-up calls as required
  • Negotiations and contract closures
  • Update the sales database with recent customer/prospect activity
  • Up-selling new products and services to existing customers
    Keeping the customers happy on an ongoing basis
  • A thought leader who can bring innovation to the business and act as a key spokesperson for Applicaster in the market

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Sales Manager with experience in the Commercial Broadcasting world. He/she will understand how the Applicaster service acts as a driver of value for its customers. He/she will have an established understanding of services, customers and the key commercial considerations. Equally important, he/she will have an established network of high-level executives in the industry.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in content, TV and/or sales in the US technology and TV industry
  • Strong existing personal connections within the West Coast broadcast & content industries
  • Proven ability to open doors and get the sale
  • Driven by individual and team targets
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Quick thinker with out-of-the-box ideas
  • Thrive in a pressured environment
  • Ability to function in a sales team environment
  • Comfort with a rapidly changing, fast moving working environment
  • Fluent English, additional languages a plus
