The Senior Product Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to increase awareness and adoption of the MarkLogic database platform. You will craft the messages for features and benefits. You will drive customer insights. You will enable the growing sales team. You will be the external voice of the product. Your thinking and content will ripple throughout the industry.

You have a strong understanding of business and market drivers, a way with words, a keen eye for design, and the ability to challenge conventional thinking. You’ll work cross-functionally with product managers, sales reps, communications, and other members of the marketing team to drive end-to-end product marketing for our new generation database technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

4+ years of highly successful B2B software product marketing experience – you have a track record that you’re extremely proud of

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, especially writing – you like to write technical content with a dash of pizzazz

Ability to create compelling content across channels, from concept to development – short form, long form, online, or offline

Ability to evangelize the product, including acting as a thought leader – you are comfortable presenting to large groups

Demonstrated ability to work closely with Product, Sales, Design, and PR teams – you enjoy the process and are a master of synthesis

Exceptional project management skills and ability to juggle competing demands – you know how to say no

Strong analytical skills, focused on customer and market research – you can gather and summarize data and also empathize with customers

You’re generally passionate about solving the most important data problems that large organizations face around the world

Relevant industry experience; databases or enterprise software is a plus

Minimum BS/BA degree; MBA is a plus
