S3 Announces Participation at Industry Events in San Francisco and Hollywood

In addition to the 2nd Screen Society (S3) event being held on September 8th in Amsterdam (click here for details) S3 announced today their participation in two upcoming industry events – both designed specifically to address the challenges and opportunities present in the emerging 2nd Screen ecosystem.

The MultiScreen Summit™ takes place on September 19-20, 2012 at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, CA and is produced by Unicomm and The Bob Dowling Group, in association with Variety.  The MultiScreen Summit examines the competitive marketplace between screens, devices, distributors and content creators, offering practical solutions to the media industry and to brands on how to engage with the connected consumer.  Samsung will participate as a presenting sponsor through Samsung Media Solutions Center America (MSCA).

“From televisions to handhelds, Samsung is taking a leadership role in developing new screen formats and providing platforms for cross-channel content,” says Gary Schwartz, Content Chair, MultiScreen Summit. “In Hollywood, the center of global entertainment, with the help of Samsung, the summit will explore key business opportunities and challenges associated with the new multiscreen economy.”

The MultiScreen Summit runs concurrent with the fifth annual 3D Entertainment Summit.  Since 2008, the 3D Entertainment Summit has explored the business drivers and opportunities afforded by 3D technology bringing together top industry visionaries.  For more information visit: http://thescreensummit.com/
