Wolk Takes Over as 2nd Screen Society Chairman

Alan Wolk, the former global lead analyst for Piksel, has taken on the role of chairman for the 2nd Screen Society (S3), succeeding S3 founder Chuck Parker. Parker, now executive chairman of Sohonet, will stay on with S3 as chairman emeritus.

S3 is dedicated to promoting second screen engagement tools, multiscreen, over-the-top and alternate delivery channels, social TV and other future-facing video platforms.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Alan’s high industry profile — and deep insight into the driving forces that shape our industry — taking the reins of the 2nd Screen Society,” said Guy Finley, executive director of S3 and its parent organization, the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance.
