ZOO Digital Passes 150 Million Subtitle Mark

ZOO Digital announced Jan. 24 that it’s delivery of multilingual subtitles for those in the TV and movie business has hit the 150 million mark, a major milestone for the company’s cloud-powered localization and digital distribution services work.

“Subtitling in the cloud gives us the ability to find new ways to meet industry challenges while enabling the most sought-after TV and movie content to reach audiences around the world quickly and to the highest quality,” said Gordon Doran, president at ZOO Digital. “We’re delighted that our cloud-based approach to subtitling is realizing benefits for content owners and global broadcasters on this scale.”

ZOO Digital currently offers foreign language subtitling and captioning in most every language, and has provided subtitles services for every major Hollywood studios, with the last year seeing the company become an approved vendor for one of the industry’s top online retailers, along with making advances in subtitling for digital screeners, compliance editing and metadata localization.
