NeuLion Enters into New Agreement with PokerGO (MESA)

NeuLion today announced that it has entered into an agreement with PokerGO, a recently-launched digital video subscription service that gives poker fans worldwide access to exclusive live tournaments and on-demand original programming throughout the year. Launched in May by Poker Central, PokerGO is available in more than 150 countries.

The NeuLion Digital Platform, which provides digital video broadcasting, distribution and monetization of live and on-demand sports and entertainment content to any connected device, will power over 100 live days of poker per year, including the Super High Roller Bowl and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). “We’re very excited to be working with yet another industry-leading global content provider with tremendous reach and scale and a huge captive audience in excess of 100 million loyal fans globally,” said Roy Reichbach, President and CEO of NeuLion.

PokerGO will also offer its fans around the world on-demand access to original shows and programming, behind-the-scenes content, and a library of poker events and programming.

In addition to live events, PokerGO original programming includes “Dead Money: A Super High Roller Bowl Story,” a documentary series about underdog Matt Berkey’s run at the 2016 Super High Roller Bowl; “Pokerography,” a series profiling poker professionals; “Poker Nights,” a short-form comedy series starring Chris Parnell; and classic programming like “Poker After Dark,” “Face the Ace,” and “Doubles Poker Championship.” To learn more about the service, click here.

We look forward to working closely with our partners at PokerGO, and helping to further strengthen and grow their global presence and following.”

The service offers fans the streaming of HD on-demand content and live linear channels using NeuLion-developed apps to virtually any connected device, including mobile and tablet apps from Microsoft, Apple, and Google, along with connected devices like Xbox One, Sony PlayStation, Apple TV, Roku, PS4, and Amazon Fire TV, and for iOS and Android devices.

“We need a platform that enables us to deliver poker content reliably to our fans in every corner of the globe – NeuLion is a dynamic partner that unlocks the capability to stream professional-grade content to wherever our audiences are, on any device or screen,” said Joe Kakaty, president of PokerGO. “We are impressed with their OTT video technology, leadership, and customer service, and we look forward to continuing our strong partnership with them.”
