FilmTrack Adds Evans as EVP, Operations (MESA)

Rights and royalties management solution firm FilmTrack has brought aboard industry vet Denise Evans as its new EVP of operations, tasking her with advising the company’s product group, overseeing customer support, and more. Most recently, Evans served as CIO of Tang Media Partners, parent company of Global Road Entertainment, and as VP of IT for Miramax, where she handled all IT operations. Her nearly 40-year career also included stints as VP of IT for MGM, and VP of operations and IT for Mitsubishi.

“I am honored to be part of the overall direction of FilmTrack,” Evans said. “FilmTrack has always been an organization that values the voice of the customer. From day one, the FilmTrack team has been inclusive and embracing of my experience and input. Simply said, I am thrilled to be part of FilmTrack.”

Jason Kassin, FilmTrack CEO and co-founder, added: “Her management methodology and process-oriented style is a great addition for FilmTrack. Stephen Kassin [FilmTrack President and co-founder] and I often said, ‘It would be great if we could add someone like Denise Evans to our team.’ We never imagined we’d be fortunate enough to work with the real McCoy. Denise’s profound technical experience — coupled with her unmatched product knowledge — is the exact blend of skill sets needed to make magic at FilmTrack.”
