Austrian VOD Service Taps Whip Media’s CVM Platform

Magenta Telekom, an Austrian subsidiary of German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom, has tapped Whip Media Group and its enterprise content value management (CVM) platform to more easily handle its VOD services, the company announced.

Magenta Telekom is using the platform to automate its VOD and more effectively capitalize on contracts, control all VOD royalties, streamline assets ease supply chain management hassles.

“The rapid growth of VOD content has required that we adopt new systems to scale and efficiently handle an increased volume of deals, along with calculations and payments to programmers,” said Christian Jaros, VP of entertainment for Magenta Telekom. “Working with Whip Media, we are now able to better streamline and automate content operations to improve efficiencies and mitigate risks by reducing manual processes.”
