Deluxe Looks at Cloud, Quality Balance for Audio at Nov. 5 Smart Content Summit EU

The pandemic has resulted in more reliance on cloud services for production needs, especially in the area of dubbing, with voice artists working remotely more than ever before.

But for localization providers, there’s concern that the quality of voice recordings my suffer due to the reliance on remote services.

At the 5th Nov. Smart Content Summit EU, Chris Reynolds, SVP of localization for Deluxe, will ease those concerns with the presentation “Cloud-Based Audio Recording is Here. Learn how to Maintain your Studio Quality.”

“Attendees will learn more about the challenges of cloud recording and how the demand for solutions has increased due to the pandemic,” he said. “I’ll cover technical, workflow and process challenges and followed by a short demonstration of One Dub to give attendees a look at how it helps address some of these challenges.”

Deluxe One Dub and its Session Sync feature aims to make cloud-based dubbing and ADR a breeze, offering collaborative sessions with multiple participants in either their home or studio environment, and bringing professional, frame-accurate, 24-bit 48kHz audio recording directly into web browsers.

Smart Content Summit EU is produced by MESA and MESA Europe, in association with CDSA, HITS and the Smart Content Council, which meets regularly to share best practices, evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate to accelerate the pace of transformation in our industry.
