MESA Member Webinar Week Ahead: May 3-7

Microsoft hosts its two-day Ability Summit, Box and MicroStrategy offer up inside looks at how to make the most of their products, and the Media & Entertainment Information Sharing Analysis Center (ME-ISAC) hosts another informal meet-up for cybersecurity and content protection executives in the M&E industry.

Those are just a few of the online events from the MESA community the week of May 3-7, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Tuesday:

• Sony’s bi-weekly “Tech Tuesday: AV Solutions Webinar Series” continues with a deep dive into BRAVIA and the pro display technology advantages for audio-visual professionals. Attendees will learn about the latest software, integrated features and functionality updates.

• ME-ISAC — an initiative within the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), for the benefit of the Trusted Partner Network (TPN) — will hold its second informal meet-up for cybersecurity and content protection executives in the M&E industry. Held the first Tuesday of each month, the virtual events feature presentations and Q&As with experts in the industry.

Wednesday:

• MicroStrategy’s “The HyperIntelligence SDK” presentation will share how any enterprise application can be made hyperintelligent, by embedding instant insights and one-click actions. Attendees will learn how they can apply relevant intelligence to their business via the systems employees already use to do their jobs.

• Microsoft kicks off its two-day Ability Summit, a free digital event experience bringing together people with disabilities, accessibility professionals, and allies to advancing the need for inclusion across all industries. The event will feature keynotes from Microsoft executives and leaders of the disability community, panels covering the latest projects and innovations, and demos of accessibility features included in Office, Windows, Xbox and more.

Thursday:

• “Tips and Tricks to Kick Work Into High Gear” has Box solution engineer Steve Danielsson highlighting the features of the Box platform, covering how to easily find, bookmark, and share content; securely work with both internal and external collaborators; and collaborate across other apps, including Microsoft, Slack and Zoom.
