ZOO Debuts Post-to-Platform, Names New EMEA Dub Chief

Localisation provider ZOO Digital has debuted a new post-to-platform service for streaming services and their licensed content partners who need to deliver movies and TV shows to platforms, featuring end-to-end technical and management services needed to fulfil content packages to any streaming service in any territory.

The service has ZOO teams creating or conforming all of the components required for the delivery package, including subtitles, metadata and graphics, all compliant with each platform’s unique specifications, and will be available 24/7 from facilities in Los Angeles, Dubai and London.

“With our post-to-platform service, we’re looking to make life easier for both the streaming platform and their licensed content partners,” said ZOO Digital president Gordon Doran. “For the streaming service, we’re removing the challenge and time drain of managing all of their partners, dealing with queries and handling deliveries.

“For the content partners, we’re the experienced, safe pair of hands to support them through the process of delivering their valuable content into the platform. Our dedicated project management and media services teams will work closely with them throughout the process to ensure accurate, on-time delivery.”

ZOO Digital also announced it has named Ewa Zawadzka as its new head of dubbing for EMEA. She brings more than a decade of dubbing and localisation experience to the role, with previous stints with BTI Studios and Iyuno-SDI Group.

Zawadzka will be charged with enhancing ZOO’s dubbing capabilities in key territories in Europe and the Middle East and will lead the expanding dubbing operations team based out of Zoo’s London facility. She’ll work closely with a newly-established team of territory managers across Germany, Italy, Spain, Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.

“I’m delighted to join the dubbing department at such an exciting time for ZOO and the media localisation industry in general,” Zawadzka said. “ZOO’s creative vision and highly talented team are just a few of many reasons why it’s a very special company to work at and for our clients to work with. Over the coming months I want to help the company go to the next level with dubbing services in EMEA and I look forward to being part of this journey.”

Raúl Aldana, VP of dubbing for ZOO, added: “We’re extremely pleased to have Ewa join the team in Europe. She offers the perfect combination of creative expertise and production experience, and will be able to deliver both the high-quality service and dubbed content that our clients need.”
