Microsoft ‘Envision’ Event Geared Toward M&E Leaders

On June 16, Microsoft will host its Envision: Media & Entertainment Summit, an all-virtual event geared toward media and entertainment leaders, with an agenda that aims to address industry challenges, help attendees capitalise on opportunities, and find new content and customer experience opportunities.

The free event covers real-world insights from Microsoft leaders, including Kate Johnson, president of Microsoft U.S., Deb Cupp, CVP, enterprise and commercial industries, Tim Murphy, principal program manager for Azure M&E, Vick Wowo, global head of sports and live experience, and Jen Cooper, global head of media and communications industry strategy and solutions.

They’ll be joined by experts from the NBA, NBCUniversal, ViacomCBS, ESPN, Avid and more, tackling a range of topics, including women in M&E, remote content production, navigating the future of the industry, the future of live entertainment, and new data applications.

“Join us as we re-imagine and re-define the most innovative consumer experiences across all facets of sports, media, and entertainment,” Johnson said.

The event will also feature a special music performance from composer, writer, producer and classical pianist Chloe Flower.
